The Retriever Club of Alaska (RCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to further the advancement of retriever breeds. RCA is run by volunteer retriever enthusiasts and welcomes members of all ages. We are American Kennel Club (AKC)-affiliated, adhering to AKC’s regulations and procedures.
Our mission
RCA exists to advance the breeding, training, and field abilities of retriever breeds in Alaska. We do this through field trials, hunt tests, education, and a strong community of retriever owners.
What we do
We sponsor AKC-licensed field trials and hunt tests, run training classes and clinics for members at every level, and bring visiting professional trainers to Alaska for workshops and seminars. Our 2026 events calendar lists everything coming up.
